Sewer Lateral Inspections
Sewer repairs can potentially be very costly. Using specialized equipment, we inspect the property's sewer line. We access a clean-out opening and run a camera as far as possible observing any defects such as tree roots, obstructions, or cracks to name a few.
Termite Inspection
Termites and other Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) are a serious threat to the structural integrity of a structure. We inspect for the property looking for signs of an infestation. If required, we provide our clients with the NPMA-33 form required by some FHA, VA, and HUD loans.
Pool & Spa
Pools are expensive so it's best to know if everything is running properly. Our basic pool inspections includes a visualize examination of the equipment. Additionally we have the capability to do testing of the water along with leak analyzing.
Radon Testing
Radon is an odorless, tasteless, colorless gas and comes naturally from rocks and dirt in the ground. Radon gas can buildup inside of a home and is the number #2 cause of lung cancer. In a radon test, specialized equiment measures radon levels over the course of a 48 hour period.
Chimney Inspection
All inspectors are required to check the fireplace but nearly 2/3 of the system is hidden from view. Using a specialized camera system we can inspect the interior portions of the chimney to inspect for cracks, damage, and other deficiencies. This can help spot costly repairs before closing.
Lead Testing
Lead pipes are still a common occurrence in Chicago. Using EPA approved testing, we can test for lead in drinking water to determine if high levels are present on the property.
Mold Testing
High levels of mold inside the home can have an adverse health affects on your family. Mold can be hidden in areas especially in vacant properties. We offer air quality testing along with surface testing. Our samples are analyzed by a lab and results are provided the next business day.
Electrical Mapping
Often electrical panels have incorrect or missing labels. This can be difficult to determine which area of a property needs to be turned off when performing maintenance or upgrades. We can map a property's electrical system with 100% accuracy on your closing day ensuring a properly labeled home when you move in.
